My red rose with black roots

Whispers escape form my grips
and tears from my eyes
when I see a red young rose
that slowly falls and dies.

It has such a silky red color...
As my sky blue tears wet my lips
I caress it with soft whispers
and kiss it with my fingertips.

Teardrops fall from my eyes
they wet a red rose's black roots
and feed it before it dies
from wounds of merciless boots.
