My friend wrote these verses and I liked them so much I thought I would share them here.

There is no fixing a broken glass that never was.
There is no drying of water from parched lips that drank from an empty glass.
There is no balm for a wound that bleeds only in one’s imagination.
There is no place to hide in the dark when caught in a storm in a dream
There is no rescue for one who nurtures caterpillars that turn to butterflies
That fly away....
