Random thoughts on ECT

ECT -electroconvulsive therapy scares the tar out of me. It's scientifically untested as to what it will do the the neurons and the brain.
It serves to 'jump-start' the brain for depression however many have done that and have been completely cured and many have had anxiety, flashbacks and other issues that did not have before.

The brain is a fascinating and powerful thing, it's too precious to mess around and ECT-s side effects are quite scary.

I wish there was another way around rather than using THIs as a last resort to treatment.
