A normal family celebrates Christmas at home…

As dessert, a succulent cake of chocolate and cream waits for them...

A young chicken called Pollino lives for some days enjoying in the cake. As he is very clever, and knows the bad cannibal customs of the humans, he decides to escape...

Beginning his adventure, he jumps out and leaves the cake without the devil humans notice about it...

mmm... something smells bad to Pollino!

His chicken instinct tells him that here there is a trap...

Because of the alcoholic effluviums of his cannibals and wild masters, Pollino turns insane and starts to get dizzy… he remembers what his mother told him when leaving the farm: "Pollino, my son, it is better for you never to prove drugs"...

Our hero see everything in a blurred way and he hold back the desires of vomiting... will Pollino survive this terrible experience?...

Making a titanic and superchickens effort, Pollino overcomes the sickness and he moves away from the table of the drunk humans...

From the distance he observes a strange device...

What will be this machine?

The curiosity of Pollino and his joyful character are stronger than his instinct of survival...

Secretly, as dormouse face to the watching, Pollino discovers the entrance to a strange cave...

mmm... Pollino doesn't trust of anything neither of anybody... which surprises will afford him in this trip?...

Noooooooo, for heaven's sake!!!! The chicken, faithful to his name, he will have entered in the mouth of the wolf!!!!

Scared he observes he has been discovered by his worst enemy, the captain Gabanakis, a cruel agronomer without scruples who is fed up with measuring fields...

What a terrible situation!!! Pollino doesn't still know it, but the cave turns out to be a wooden nutcracker bought in a medieval market of hipyes!!!

"Bad roll!!! ", our friend thinks when noticing the contact with this torture machine on his little neck ...

But what is thisssssssssssssss?... Pollino is being wrongly mashed by the vile garrote of the evil and felonious Gabanakis...

"Good-bye cruel world! It was beautiful while this intent of reaching the freedom lasted ! "...

Oh what a badddddddd ones are the human beings, this is not fair…

Pollino is dead and he already rests in the chickens’ heaven, to right side of the Father.

... and for you not to worry too much, it is very probable that the chiken Pollino will revive in the next chapter; now i am doing a casting to an hippopotamus but i'm not very sure ... although he possibly will be the protagonist of chapter 3: "The incestuous Pollino's love affairs."
