Simaku to perform live with her band at infamous CBGB's in Manhattan.



Simaku will sing live at the infamous CBGB's 313 Gallery on Tuesday, July 11th at 9pm in New York City. With a new band, Simaku will perform songs from her new Albanian language CD Echoes From Iliria along with some international flavors. Featuring her husband Robert Nolfe as guitarist/musical director, the band is a modern mix of musicians from world music and European backgrounds.



One of New York City's most famous music clubs, CBGB has been a space for new creativity in music and many legendary musicians have performed there such as Blondie, The Police, Elvis Costello and The Ramones.



This will be Simaku's first performance of Echoes From Iliria with her new group after having completed a tour of Borders Books & Music locations along the US east coast, where Simaku and Robert played live and signed autographs for happy fans.
