How long did it take you to learn English. When I came to U.S. I did not speak any English at all. It took me 6-8 months to learn to communicate.

SAT is an exam to enter to colleges(like toefl, but way more difficult),it is one of the requirements a college asks for(one has to take more then 920 points to enter)this test has 7 sections from which 3 test your english(grammar ,reading comprehension and analogies with symbols),the other 3 ones test your math skills(problem solving,comparisons,calculations,algebra) and the last one is an extra section,that might be math or english language.(as if the sections aren't already too many to do in 3 hours).
there are two kinds of SAT-s:I and II,the second one requires an essay too, writen within half an hour.(every question has limited time as in TOEFL) I took the second one.

SATs SUCK!!! Who the hell takes the TOEFL...you friggin immigrants!! Haha im just jokin :p
By the way it took me like 4 months to communicate decently.

hej lorie i have a question about SAT.
if you will not be able to get 900 or more points in that test can you retake it? i took the asset test and that wasn' t that hard but i want to take the SAT and i really don' t know what to study for...
help...

i came with almost no english and it took me about three months to start communicating.... ho man that was a hard and tough time

meqe isha duke pare kete teme dhe kishe pyetje dhe meqe e dija po ta them 
SAT apo ACT e mer sa here qe te duash dhe ata marin scores me te larta qe ke ti ne math part ose ne English part dhe me pas i bashkojne te dyja scores in one
ne qofte se nuk mer dot ato piket maksimale e vetmja gje qe duhet te besh para se te hysh ne college dhe te maresh regullar clases duhet te besh nje si tip testi tjeter ne ate lende qe more me pak pine ne ndonje community college ose te kerkojne te maresh nje pre college class... por kjo kuptohet qe varet dhe nga collegji qe do hysh ti
sa per te mesuar eshte ne fakt nje liber qe quhet SAT preparation dhe ka dhe nje cd brenda qe mund te punosh ushtrime ne com por kur vete e mer testin aty its a nightmare ( jo tete scare po eshte true)

ato fjalet ne english part qe si ke degjuar ndonjeher.... guess right hopefully:-D

hej flm per informacionin qe u mundove te me jepje, e di per ke liber flet sa per ate testin per te hyre ne kolegj ishte nje cop keku per mua, po si tia bej ketij SAT ketu e kam hallin...
