Brune one of the reason is that he is very good looking but that does not mean that i like him that way. I just like the way he sings love songs. One of the songs that i like is "Hero", he describes love as one of the most important thing in life and one should sacrifice for the one that they love.
That's one of the reason that I like.

A talented R&B singer and actress, Aaliyah (pronounced ah-lee-yah) may wind up being best remembered as rising talent whose life ended before she hit her artistic peak.

Aaliyah Dana Haughton was born in New York on Jan. 16, 1979, and died in a plane crash on Aug. 25, 2001, after taping the video for her song "Rock The Boat" in the Bahamas. Raised in Detroit, Aaliyah's distinctive first name is Arabic for "the highest" or "most exalted."l; She started performing early on as a peripheral member of Gladys Knight's troupe. But her uncle managed R. Kelly, and it was Kelly who produced Age Ain't Nothing But A Number, Aaliyah's coyly titled debut album.

If you believe the hype that accompanied that album's release, Aaliyah was 15 years old at the time; if you believe the gossip columns, she and Kelly tied the knot shortly after the disc's release. Apparently, it didn't stay tied for long, and Kelly was gone when it came time to record One In A Million, released in 1996.

Her second album spawned some hits, including "If Your Girl Only Knew," a Number One R&B single. Before releasing her third effort, 2001's self-titled album, Aaliyah, Aaliyah appeared on the soundtracks for Anastasia and Eddie Murphy's Dr. Dolittle. In 2000, she co-starred with martial arts expert Jet Li in Romeo Must Die, which was a big box-office success. She served as the soundtrack executive producer for the latter that bore her Number One pop hit "Try Again." At the time of her death, she was slated to appear in the film adaptation of Anne Rice's Queen Of The Damned, which was shot in Australia in 2000.

After making a name for herself guesting on tracks by Ja Rule and Fat Joe, Ashanti Douglas burst straight out of the Murder Inc. camp and to the to of the charts with "Foolish." The song, notable for its guest-spot-from-beyond by the Notorious B.I.G., hit the top of the Hot 100 and R&B singles chart, and drove Ashanti's self-tilted debut to the top of the charts upon its release.

In fact, Ashanti was so hot that she became the first artist since the Beatles to have three singles simultaneously in the top 10, after "Foolish" followed her duet with Ja Rule, "Always On Time," and her pairing with Fat Joe, "What's Luv?," into the upper reaches of the Hot 100.

Ashanti wasn't exactly an overnight sensation. She had a number of false starts on her road to success. At age 14 she landed a deal with Jive Records that went nowhere. She had a similar experience three years later with Noontime/Epic. Finally, things started to go her way toward the end of her teen years when she met Irv Gotti through a friend of a friend of her co-manager. Gotti was initially hesitant to showcase an R&B artist, but gave the budding singer a guest shot on Big Pun's "How We Roll," the first in a series of pairings with hip-hop artists, which gave Ashanti credibility in the urban music world.

Subsequent hit singles from Ashanti, "Baby" and "Happy," further cemented her stardom, as did several high-profile nominations and awards. Although she failed to win best new artist, her debut album was named best contemporary R&B album at the Grammys in 2003. Similar triumphs followed at the Soul Train Awards and the NAACP Awards.

With the release of Chapter II in July 2003, Ashanti set out to prove that her earlier success was no fluke.

Daniel Bedingfield has become a young U.K. garage sensation ever since his explosive single "Gotta Get Thru This" topped the British dance charts in 2001. Having been rejected by a handful of London record labels, he took matters into his own hands: After recording the majority of what would soon be his debut album in his bedroom, he unassumingly sent the soon-to-be hit to a few major DJs. Soon after garage impresario EZ picked it up and added it to the Pure Garage 4 compilation, "Gotta Get Thru This" took off and the 22-year-old, New Zealand-born singer-songwriter was suddenly the center of a bidding war.

Bedingfield was raised in Southeast London and began writing songs at age 6. A few years later, he formed a group called DNA Algorhythm with his sisters, Natasha and Nikola; the family trio played gigs at their mother's counseling seminars and some nationwide festivals. At age 16, Bedingfield got his first synthesizer, which led him onto the musical path that he walks today.

After his single's initial success, Bedingfield eventually signed to Polydor U.K. and Island Records and recorded his full-length album, also titled Gotta Get Thru This, an irresistible array of dance-garage anthems and ebullient R&B harmonies with a funk/teen-pop aura. Bedingfield has described it what Sting, Michael Jackson, and Stevie Wonder would sound like jamming together in a basement, though in reality most of the writing and recording took place in his humble London flat with the help of one computer, one microphone, and some very forgiving neighbors.
