The Art History is full of examples about how men have tried to take the reality in their paintings, since the sophisticated machines of Alberti, or Leonardo or Durero, lot of methods to reach the reality in a painting...
Michel Foucault says something very interesting about this issue:

"But the relation of language to painting is an infinite relation. It is not that words are imperfect, or that, when confronted by the visible, they prove insuperably inadequate. Neither can be reduced to the other's terms: it is in vain that we say what we see; what we see never resides in what we say. And it is in vain that we attempt to show, by the use of images, metaphors, or similes, what we are saying; the space where they achieve their splendour is not that deployed by our eyes but that defined by the sequential elements of syntax".

I would like to know your opinions about what can be more meaningfull, words or pictures, it means, to show the reality like it is; what is and how the relationship between painting and words is?

Fjale apo piktura?

Historia e artit eshte plot shembuj se si njerezit jane perpjekur te sjellin realitetin ne pikturat e tyre, qe nga makinerite e sofistikuara te Albertit, ose Leonardos ose Durero, shume menyra per te arritur realizmin ne piktura.
Michel Foucault thote dicka shume interesante lidhur me kete ceshtje:

"Por varesia e gjuhes mbi pikturen eshte nje varesi e pafundshme. Jo se fjalet jane te paperkryera, ose ngaqe kur perballen me te dukshmen, ato tregojne qe jane shume pavend. Gjithashtu nuk mund te zvogelohet deri tek thenia: eshte e kote te themi ate qe shohim; ajo cfare shohim asnjehere nuk mbetet tek ajo qe themi. Dhe me kot perpiqemi ta tregojme ate qe themi duke perdorur pamjet, metaforat ose buzeqeshjet; hapesira ku ato arrijne te shkelqejne nuk eshte ajo e vendosur nga syte tone, por ajo e perkufizuar nga elementet vazhdues te sintakses".

Do te doja te dija opinionet tuaja lidhur me ate cka mund te jete me kuptimplote, fjalet apo pikturat, dmth te tregoje realitetin ashtu sic eshte; cfare eshte, dhe si eshte marredhenia midis pikturave dhe fjaleve?

Well darke, I envy you for having such interesting ideas for posts
Actually I never thought about it, but I think it depends on what you want to say. You can say anything with words (obvously) but on the other hand, you can also express it with paintings (well, not necessarly good-looking paintings, i.e. for themes like: What the hell, I broke my nail, again!, but it would be a painting nevertheless) Oh, of course, it depends on the artist that would express it (by words or painting)
